My Mission Statement

To brighten the lives of the clients I work with and to improve the quality of their lives by sharing my knowledge, understanding and compassion.

When my first child began school I volunteered to read with the students. It was from this experience that I became passionate about helping those children who struggle academically as well as socially and emotionally in the school environment. So my journey began, completing a teaching degree in Early Years, then moving on to complete a Masters in Inclusive Education & Learning Support. I have worked in the public education sector for 10 years and experienced first hand all the barriers students with disabilities and their parents/carers face within the school system.  In my role as an Inclusion Support Teacher, I wanted to develop a deeper understanding of why children behave in a variety of contexts, from the home to school and in the community. This lead me down the path of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) where I studied to become a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)
I am a registered teacher with the Queensland College of Teachers as well as a member of Early Childhood Intervention Australia, the Association for Behaviour Analysis Australia, the Association for Behavior Analysis International, the Association for Positive Behavior Support (APBS), the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science and the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts.
